Community Book Discussion

Join us for a conversation on the funny, cover of No Impact Manthought-provoking book No Impact Man: The Adventure of a Guilty Liberal Who Attempts to Save the Planet, and the Discoveries He Makes About Himself and Our Way of Life In the Process by Colin Beavan.

The conversation begins at 7 pm on Monday, February 27. All are welcome to join this "Lodi Reads Leopold" discussion on contemporary environmental impact. You also may wish to visit Beavan's blog or check out the books' partnering documentary film.

How Valuable Is The Library In Your Life?

Take a minute with the value calculator to see just how much the library services you're using are worth. What would you have to pay, if the library didn't exist?

Once you've had the chance to plug in your numbers and calculate your personal library use, we encourage you to contact your government representatives and remind them how important libraries are to our community. Or, tell your story at Libraries for Real Life.

Tell us your library story: Libraries for Real Life - What's your story?

Our SCLS libraries are gathering unique tales about how libraries change lives. Have a story to tell? Tell it here.
