In addition to 25,000 books, the library also has large print books, books on cassette and CD, CD-ROM Game Kits, DVDs, and music CDs. Our library collection includes:
110 popular magazines for all age groups; titles
include: Exceptional Parent, Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, Oprah, Madison, Chicago,
Milwaukee, Nick Jr., Click, Ranger Rick, Transworld Skateboarding, American
Girl, Car & Driver.
Local, County and State newspapers: Lodi
Enterprise, Portage Daily Register, Wisconsin State Journal, Capital Times.
The library also carries: Wall Street Journal, Elderhostel, Isthmus,
Book Page and New York Times Book Review.
Children's programs include daytime story times,
multi-cultural evening and Saturday story times, after school crafts and games,
celebration of Children's Book Week in November and summer reading programs
for all ages.: Read-to-Me, READ and Reading Challenge.
Adult programs feature mini-courses on library
technology, monthly book discussion group, art exhibits, displays, genealogy
and other interesting workshops and celebration of National Library Week in
April.

1. The Lodi Library requires that patrons present their library cards for all check outs including interloan, renewals and in-house PC use. A patron may renew through the website at www.lodipubliclibrary.org, by calling the library at 608-592-4130 or by stopping by the library with his/her library card.
2. Checkout time for books is 28 days. Exceptions to the 28-day checkout will be adult best sellers from the previous 6 months and children's holiday books. These items as well as audio selections, including books-on-cassette and music, will be 14-day check outs. Magazines, toy kits, videos/DVDs, CD-ROM games may be checked out for 7 days only. Magazines, videos/DVDs and CDs may be renewed only if there are no holds.
3. Overdue charges are 10¢ per day. Exceptions will be toys, videos, DVDs and software which will carry a fine of $1 per day.
4. Due to demand, Lodi owned videos & DVDS will be limited to 5 per family while book/toy kits and CD-ROM multimedia kits are limited to one per family.
