What if you can't find it?

Don't despair! We have the resources to help with the answers you need.

In addition to the LINKcat resources and online databases, the Lodi Public Library has many other sources we can use to help you locate information.

OuterLibrary Loan (OLL)

Just because it's not available in South Central Library System doesn't mean we can't get it - stop in the library to fill out an OLL request card and we'll try to locate your information from other libraries through WorldCAT. You never know who may loan us the materials! You'll need to provide as much info as you can about the item you're requesting, such as title, author, publisher, date, ISBN number and any other specifics you can provide.

Please note: because these items are not from our library system, most items cannot be renewed, and checkout terms vary. The overdue fine on OLL items is $1.00 per day.

Local History Collection

The Lodi Public Library's vault holds a collection of local history resources that may be helpful. Our collection includes:

  • Local newspaper contents from 1874 to current
  • Local cemetery records
  • Yearbooks, phone books, plat books, and local history books
