Summer programs, starting the week of June 10th and running through August 9th


Game Day at the Library, join us from 1-2pm for grades K-5 and from 2:30-3:30 pm for Tween/teen games!

We have Music & Story Time with Mr Alex at 10am and then Build and Balance at 10:30am.

Mr Alex reads stories, and plays his guitar and sings songs. Build and Balance is a chance for the kids to get their wiggles out after story time. We have lots of fun construction materials for them to play with too.

On Wednesday afternoons at 1pm, everyone can come and enjoy building during Construction Zone. Use your imagination to construct your greatest creation using Magna-Tiles, Marble Genius, Brain Flakes, KEVA contraptions, and much more!

Writer's Workshop and Movie Matinee day. The Writer's Workshop is at 1pm and that program is full.

Thursday June 13, 2019 11am Giant Steps: A Presentation by Astronomy Educator John Heasley

2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. John Heasley, astronomy educator with Driftless Stargazing LLC, will discuss the story and discoveries of humans' first journey to the moon. This program is for all ages.

Saturday June 29, 2019 9:30am Great Wiggly Worm Race

Kids work in teams to "coach" their athletes (worms) on to greatness. Specially trained racing worms provided by the library. All ages welcome.

Friday July 19, 2019 Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Bring one of your stuffed animals to spend a night at the library. We promise your pal will return full of stories about their overnight adventures!

Drop off animals between 5-5:30 pm on Friday, July 19. Pick up animals and watch a short slideshow of the adventures your stuffed friend had without you between 9-9:30 pm on Saturday, July 20.

Parents: Please make sure it is a stuffy your child can part with overnight!
