In tandem with the Community-Wide Read, we're offering two thought-provoking presentations from UW-Madison professors. One presentation is on Thursday evening and the other is Saturday morning before the lunch and book discussion.
- Daniel Kapust, a Professor of Politics, will present on "The Dangers and Possibilities of Political Rhetoric" on Thursday, June 9 at 6:00 pm.
- Diana Hess, the Dean of the Education Department, will present a program on "The Case for High Quality Discussion of Controversial Issues" at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11. We'll have a free lunch at noon, and then have our book discussion of Divided We Fall in the Program Room at 1:00 pm. No panel this year. We want anyone who wants to listen or share their thoughts. It should be casual and meaningful.
