Re-opening FAQ

  1. What are your hours? We are open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday.
  2. Are staff or patrons required to wear a mask? Yes. We started a mandatory masks policy on Wednesday, July 1st. Children aged 2 and under do not need to wear them, but everyone else does. We have masks and face shields on-hand for people who forget or weren't aware of our policy. We also still have Curbside Pickup for people who would rather not wear a mask.
  3. Is Curbside Pickup still running even though you're open? Yes! Call us when you arrive (or before you leave your residence) and then pop your trunk. We'll check out your materials and bring them out to you. If you have materials to return, please put a note that says "return" on those items in your trunk. When we are open to the public, there might be minor delays in getting materials to you, but it's usually pretty quick.
  4. What safety precautions are you taking? We are taking many safety precautions, which you can find here. If you have concerns for any reason, please let us know.
  5. Will I be fined for overdue materials? No, we are now a fine free library. As long as materials are not lost or damaged, you won't be fined for any overdue materials checked out at our library.
  6. Are there any in-person library programs planned for this summer? Not right now, unfortunately. We'd planned many programs, but they've been canceled or suspended until further notice.
  7. Are your bathrooms open in your building? Yes, our bathrooms are open. They are single-user bathrooms and we clean them regularly.
  8. Can I reserve a meeting room? Not right now. We are using the meeting rooms to quarantine our materials.
