Winter Sowing w/ Becky Gutzman

When: Saturday, February 3rd at 11:00 am

To get a head start on planting your garden, consider winter sowing. This DIY seed starting method using repurposed plastic containers allows you to begin growing seeds in freezing climates.

Mason Bee Houses w/ Judi Benade

When: Saturday, February 24 at 11:00 am

Mason bees are excellent pollinators! In this make-and-take workshop, learn about these amazing bees and build a bee house for your yard.

Mighty Microgreens w/ Ardyce Piehl

When: Monday, March 11 at 6:00 pm

Tiny microgreens pack a giant nutritional punch. In this make-and-take, participants plant a reusable microgreen planter to grow these tasty little greens for year 'round enjoyment. Given space limitations, this program will likely be capped at 20-25 people, so come early if you want to participate!

Adding a rain garden to your landscape absorbs rainwater runoff and improves water quality of our natural water systems. Learn what they are, how they help, and how to build one.

This program will stir up your enthusiasm for home composting. Learn how to make "black gold" to enrich your garden from kitchen and yard waste.
